Telling the Difference. Real? or FAKE.

I'm going to let you all in on a very easy way to tell if a photo of a ghost is real or fake. Now, you may be thinking, "What? Pffft, all ghost photos are fake." Well you're wrong. A lot of photos are fake, that is true, but what's more fascinating, is the fact that the ones that are real might look more fake than the one's that actually are. Now, you might be thinking to yourself, "Geez, even it it is possible to tell the difference, it must be really hard, I don't want to put my time and effort into this", well you're not alone. I would think the same thing if I were in your shoes. But let me tell you. It's.. EASY. Let's start off with this picture here.

Notice the overall flatness of the ghost. You may recall, if you read my previous entry, that a famous 2003 phantom photographer often used the "flattened out" method of telling the difference between fake and real photos. This is the method that we're going to be practicing. Now the overall idea here, is if the ghost image is more flat than the background, it is real. If it looks super-imposed and rounded, it's fake. This photo is... REAL...(Highlight the blank for the answer). Did you get it right? If yes, then you're beginning to understand the "flattened out" method of the notable 2003 phantom photographer.

I'll give you one more, just for extra practice.

Notice the depth of the ghost, the "roundness" if you will. Now refer to the above paragraph, and see if you can figure out whether or not this photo is legitimate. Here's the answer...... FAKE ........ Did you get it right? You can try this on your own with any ghost pictures your friends might show you. Show them that you know you're stuff! Stay tuned to this blog for more articles, activities, and more!

  1. Glad to see a blog like this. I've always been interested in the paranormal and I appreciate a critical eye w/o an obsession for debunking everything, following.

  4. I personally know they exist, where I work, we have wierd crap happen all the time, being I work the graveyard shift and sit around with nothing better to do than wander the internet, I get to see and experience all the odd stuff that goes on. I have personally taken footage from the security cameras that upon review and showing others, no one can explain at all.
